"Records Are Meant To Be Broken: Houston 500 (and another 120 for good measure)"
CANOGA PARK, CA -- Someone call Guinness, there's a new Gangbang record holder and her name is Houston. This last month, the ravishing, blonde sex star usurped the title only a few weeks after a record-setting attempt by fellow porn actress Spantaneeus Xtasty.
Taking in an astonishing 621 "bangs" in less than eight hours, Houston now holds the record held previously by Xtasty (551), Jasmin St. Claire (301), and Annabel Chong (250).
The claim to 620 is drawing accusations amongst the porn community with some commentators claiming the numbers were trumped-up.
As one pundit put it, "Houston did 621 guys in the same amount of time that Spantaneeus Xtasty did 551, and Jasmin and Annabel set their records. Henry Ford would be proud the way these girls have increased efficiency with each attempt. You do the math."
From early on, the Houston record attempt has been mired in controversy.
Director John T. Bone, producer of the first two World's Biggest Gangbang videos, parted company with Metro Home Video (distributor of the videos) not long after the release of the Jasmin St. Claire video ("World's Biggest Gang Bang #02"), forming his own video company, Cream Entertainment, with dance promoter and industry figure Charlie Frey. Following a recent parting with Bone, Frey returned to the Metro fold with the plan to produce the Houston attempt.
After almost a year of promotion, touted early on as the Houston 500, Heatwave Entertainment and Spantaneeus Xtasty put together their own record attempt. Utilizing approximately 50 recruited fans, Xtasty wracked up an amazing 551 "bangs" in one day.
Metro and producer Frey spoke out about the Xtasty record claiming that the numbers were not accurate since only fifty recruits were used to generate the score.
Neither addressed the fact that at St. Claire's and Chong's attempts were there as many recruits as their final counts.
Having drawn the attention of Howard Stern, Houston made numerous appearances on Stern's radio and television shows to promote the event.
After her first appearance, Houston returned to California to turn herself in for a drunk driving arrest.
Houston later returned to the show to participate in a contest where one fan would be given the opportunity to have sex with the actress.
The Metro contract girl also received the dubious distinction of being named by Stern as the most alluring porn star he had ever had on his show when Houston assisted in a penis measuring contest.
Outspoken one-time record holder Jasmin St. Claire entered the fray when she allegedly made disparaging comments about Houston.
Houston fired back on the Stern show, leaving a message on St. Claire's answering machine prior to her the drunk driving arrest.
On Saturday, February 6th, after nearly a year of planning and coordinating, nearly a hundred aspiring amateurs gathered at a Canoga Park stage and lined up to process their AIDS tests and be assigned a wristband.
Each wristband was numbered, indicating the order in which the participants would get their chance to have sex with Houston.
Representing Adult Industry Medical (A.I.M.), an adult industry group formed to oversee blood testing, was Sharon Mitchell, an ex-performer who has been serving as spokesperson and counselor for the fledgling medical group.
In addition to the multiple cameras setup by Metro to cover the event, a small army of reporters showed up to cover the event. Press representatives from Playboy, Adult Video News, and Hustler magazines were joined by camera crews and print reporters from around the world, including a number of crews from the non-adult industry media.
After a brief press conference where Houston was brought out in a red pit crew jumpsuit and introduced to the gathering of reporters, Master of Ceremonies Ron Jeremy gathered the collection of gangbang volunteers and read from a prepared list of rules listing unacceptable actions. During the reading, Houston retreated to her dressing room.
Apart from the opportunity to have sex with a gorgeous porn starlet like Houston, the next best reason to participate in a gangbang record attempt is the team of fluffers hired on to lend a hand, mouth, or whatever to keep the talent "stimulated". In this case, Houston's Pit Crew was made up from a group of aspiring porn starlets and a few seasoned veterans, including "retired" performers Sinnamon and John Holmes' widow, Misty Dawn.
Next up came the main course, err, the featured attraction, that is. Houston made her grand entrance on the hood of a real stock car that was decorated with Metro decals and logos for the Houston 500 and it's official website.
Although the recruits gathered around Houston like a pack of ravenous dogs, the pecking order was announced and the fluffers would be allowed to get first shot at Houston, presumably because they would have their hands (and mouths) full later. Each fluffer was issued a strap-on dildo to which they got to prime Houston's pump.
Following the fluffers, a group of about twenty industry professionals were given their turn. One of the first was Dave Hardman who said that he got to the stage two hours early, so as to get a good, low number. Also seen waiting in line with their fleshy bats, ready to take a swing at Houston's pink piñata, were such luminaries as Dave Cummings, Sasha Gabor, Dick Nasty, Lexington Steele, among others.
With the paid pros out of the way, the floor was open up to the recruits, many of whom seemed more anxious to get to the fluffers than to Houston. Initially, the numbers grew slowly and it would be more than an hour before the count would cross 100.
One would imagine that after a couple hours at a freak show, you would begin to blur the atrocities. Such is the case with gangbangs. Unless seeing every type of cock imaginable is your type of thing (as a side note, after years of reporting on the sets of numerous adult films, it was nice to be reminded that not every guy in the world is walking around with a dick the size of a baby's arm in their pants), an hour into a live gangbang is dull.
Throughout the day the occasional celebrity guest would pop by and liven things up for a while. At one point, fellow Metro contract player Misty Rain showed up and slipped into a strap-on harness and helped her porn sister with another notch on the bedpost.
In order to not wear down their star attraction too quickly, the producers thoughtfully scheduled numerous breaks throughout the day. Shortly around 2:00 in the afternoon, the first of several breaks were called and the gangbangers were treated to catered hot dogs (not too appealing in light of the amount of guys walking around with their wieners hanging out) and hamburgers. With the count barely over a hundred, it was apparent that this was going to be a long day.
It was while the participants were at break that someone noted that the count suddenly jumped up around 40.
Having spent their load, a number of recruits took advantage of the lunch break to sneak away. Fortunately for Houston, a steady supply of fresh meat continued to arrive at the stages throughout the day.
Because of the strict mandate on HIV testing, a number of applicants who showed up with the wrong blood test were allowed to sit on the sidelines and watch, but not participate.
Roughly midway through the day, Houston gets up from her pedestal and runs from the set crying. Although not clear at the time, one of the participants went in a little too dry, causing a painful friction pain to the starlet.
Metro boss Greg Alves followed the actress to her dressing room, only to return moments later with a calmed Houston, who appeared removed and distant, as if she was heavily sedated.
Upon returning to center stage, Houston switches to anal penetrations.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m., nearly six hours after starting, Houston met the 500 mark, just 51 short of the record that was set by Xtasty previously. Although not wanting to officially acknowledge the Xtasty shoot as the record, Metro Home Video's Greg Alves spoke with Houston and determined that the count would continue until Houston could go no more.
Approximately one half hour later, Houston matched the Spantaneeus count of 551. Her momentum going, Houston did not stop to acknowledge the record breaking but continued on with the count. Less than 30 minutes later, the Houston count had surpassed 600 and a cutoff of 620 was determined.
Several in attendance noted that the count was moving much quicker than at the beginning of the event with some observers pointing out that the count seemed to be growing at a rate of four for every one sex partner.
Finally, master of ceremonies Ron Jeremy was selected to deliver the final "bang".
After preparing with two fluffers, Jeremy mounted Houston. Five minutes later, Jeremy signaled that he was ready to deliver his pop shot and the crowd of onlookers were instructed to countdown from 20. With the precision of a space shuttle launch, Ron fired his voluminous wad on cue, ejaculating all over Houston's back when the count reached zero.
Although some will argue the legitimacy of the actual number of participants in the event, no one in attendance will argue that Houston does not deserve every bit of attention that the title will bring her. While it is a near certainty that there will be further attempts to top 620, producers of such an event are going to be hard-pressed to top this one.
